Negotiated Project - Part 8

The Savior that came too late.

Not long before starting the following pieces, I was given a book by Nigel - 'Master the Art of Speed Painting: Digital Painting techniques'. This book is well, great. It goes into the details of how artists go about creating their speed paintings, from 2 hour pieces to 30 minute pieces. I wish I had this book from the start, but at least I had it at all. It's a great book, that I hope you can take a look at if given the chance. With that in mind, I created these pieces. The final pieces I was able to make before time itself dawned on me.

These pieces are the rather rushed ones - but I was quite happy with them, considering how little effort they took. I can actually see the idea behind them, in a way that doesn't look absolutely horrible. This piece, though, which I made while inspired by a show I was watching, is probably the best piece I made in this project. There is, however, just a little problem.

The piece isn't finished. When I first created this, I drew it on a Mac. I don't blame the mac (entirely) for this, but I ended up losing a lot, if not most of the progress of the image. You can see the beginnings of what i had planned to do on the bottom right, but well, at least you can still see the idea behind the piece.
